WE SINK

Hello lovelies, just a quick update on life lately, summer days, always carrying a huge bottle of water around with me, family barbecues in the sunshine, wedding plans, exciting emails and being asked to be a bridesmaid for my best friend, it's been quite a week! I'd love to share some advice & wedding planning posts over at natashalikestea so definitely keep an eye out on there for updates.

Hope you're all having a wonderful summer, looks like it's here to stay! I can't lie I am totally looking forward to it being socially acceptable to wear tights with dresses, I'm in no way a summer person, but I am thankful for all of the light nights, the open windows with floral breezes coming in, the fact you can eat ice lollies in bed, pretty sandals & teddy bear ice cream cones.

HAIR CRUSH: PASTELS

MERMAID | oh yeah, love a bit of mermaid green-blue hair, I can't pull it off, I've tried- lavender is more my colour.

RASPBERRY ICE CREAM | gorgeous pink toned tresses are a welcome sight for summer and I can't get enough of all the raspberry shades

BLUEBERRY | lilac toned locks are darling, super pretty with gold flecked nails and pink milk shade tops and sun dresses

We recently had a little trip to Center Parcs near Cumbria for our ninth anniversary and it was super lovely. Woodland walks, afternoon swims, cheeky starbucks, picturesque drives, ice cream, bowling and croissants for breakfast.

SUNDAY MORNING

Past weekends lately have been impromptu picnics, woodland walks, sneaky dairy ice creams and visits to pretty places (potential wedding venues & inspiration treasure troves) There's something lovely about the english countryside and even lovelier when it's literally on your doorstep.

A few Sundays ago we travelled to Norwood park which isn't very far for us and it was just gorgeous. They were holding a wedding fayre and we'd never been to one before so it was all new and exciting. Floral wallpaper, homemade cakes and gorgeous quintessential english charm, it had it all. All the people there were super lovely too and talking about ways to pin flowers into hair and which ice cream we might have, tasting little segments of wedding cake and looking at darling photography made it seem much more real.

We just have to get something booked, but it's easier said than done when pennies are few. It was such a lovely weekend though and we had lots of fun attempting silly pictures in the ground while the wind whipped through our hair. Hello, spring.
